[...] The DDA and Ed Vielmetti eventually kissed and made up, but it was an amusing David versus Goliath battle. To read a bit more about it, including some of Vielmetti’s emails to DDA and City Council officials concerning the matter, click here. [...]

Welcome to the club, boys and girls! We've had the same exact experience.

Here's a pop quiz. What people take government jobs?
The one's who can't get hired in the private sector.

I agree sarcasm doesn't help the cause but damn, does it ever feel good to vent. However, it only causes the Peter Principle morons to dig in their heels that much more. It's an ego thing.

What this all really has to do is the fact that Susan Pollay is not working for tax payers' benefit. She is protecting Republic Parking's best interest instead of the community's. It is shameful, traitorous and a downright disgusting abuse of power that the community has entrusted her with.

Her behavior is not logical given her mission: Serving the public. Clearly, she is serving Republic.
Ive run into the same problem with a bureaucratic that is in the pocket of PayLock the Shylock.

It is a bit comforting to me, though, to know that we are not the only ones facing this problem and I am very proud of all of you for shedding light on this. We need to vote with our feet, with our wallets and with our chads in this coming election to kick these duplicitous powermongers out of office.

We, The Developers of the United States of America ... Really need to start an open 'data retrieval' protocol that can be shared among servers. That way the government cant block people from sharing data because no one data request would come from a single source =P

Well, it looks like something has changed! http://a2dda.org/parking__transportation/available_parking_spots/ now has the number of spaces available again. Maybe someone or something finally got through to them!

The stance of the DDA seems highly unproductive and damaging to their image. Your project is innovative and forward thinking. I like it a lot. Thanks.
