Maybe the rise in VOIP is just consumer FATIGUE - to both thier wallets and from the mental stress of having to micro-manage their cellular minutes, timing, and usage. All I know is I'm saving a bundle yakking thru my MacBook - my small local phone co-op's long distance rates are staggering.
