Comcast Outage?
We’ve been hearing complaints of Comcast service issues in both Nashville and Atlanta. Although the company’s network status page shows everything to be ok, reports from users indicate a severe problem affecting home, business, and voice service.
Frank Eliason posted through his @ComcastCares twitter feed the following message at 10:30am EST:
We are aware of internet and phone trouble in and around Nashville. Engineers are on it. more info soon
At this time there is no information from Comcast regarding the nature of the problem, the impacted services, or the expected resolution. As of 12:30pm the Comcast Network Health page still states “No Known Issues.” On the other hand, Comcast users report otherwise:

This weekend in South Florida has been a night mare with the internet. It’s going in and out and everytime I call their Cust Service all I hear is their is no system outages. It’s funny when the internet restores by itself. I already requested my prorate credite for the days out. Everyone experiencing the same should so the same by asking for the Billing Department. REQUEST A CREDIT.
We lost our phone, internet and TV service in Nashville on Sunday around noon. I attributed it to the flood damage. It was back up at 9pm and then out again by 1am Monday. It has been down ever since. I called the local number and they said service was out in my area and was being worked on. When I called back yesterday, the number was out of service or disconnected.
There is even a outage in polk county FL and we just had a little storm that wouldnt of blew a ant off of a wind chime…this is staring to get reallll OLD
